Northeast Infiltration & Inflow Study

Koester Associates will begin installing flow monitoring devices within the sanitary sewer system the week of May 15^th.

These devices will help identify unaccounted for water within the wastewater system. Large quantities of unaccounted for water are costly to treat and also take vital capacity within the system that should be used to convey sanitary sewage.

The I&I Study will result in a report from Koester Associates identifying possible deficiencies. These in turn will be used in evaluating and developing future replacement and/or rehabilitation projects as the Town compiles its Capital Improvement Plan 2024 – 2029.
