Paving Notice – 2023

The Town of Ithaca Public Works Department will be milling and paving the following roads this spring/summer. 

Milling should be completed shortly, with paving to follow as the weather permits.

Burleigh, Lexington, Maplewood, Birchwood and Briarwood Drives and Concord and Pinewood Place

Traffic will be disrupted during working hours as construction begins on each road.  Lane closures with one-way traffic patterns will be in place during daytime construction activities. Two-way traffic will resume in the evenings, at times with only the milled surface in place until paving begins.

Driveways will be temporarily inaccessible as the work moves down each street. Whenever possible, residents will be notified at least 24-hours in advance of construction and possible driveway access blockages. The Contractor will make every effort to keep these blockages as short as possible.

There is No parking on the roadway or the shoulder while construction is in progress. 

Vehicles will be towed at owner’s expense.
