Town of Ithaca Goes Digital with Laserfiche The Town of Ithaca, a member of Tompkins Shared Services Electronic Records Repository (TSSERR), has jumped on board with Tompkins County’s award-winning digital endeavors. We have digitized official town records and documents for a more efficient, faster, and better way to serve you. What is TSSERR? TSSERR is a shared public portal that uses Laserfiche, an electronic content management system, to store and organize our records and make them available to you through our town website. What does this mean for you? It means you have access to Town Board, Zoning Board, and Planning Board minutes, and packets and resolutions anywhere and anytime via the internet without being restricted to office hours to locate the information you want. What does this mean for the Town of Ithaca? The shared service between all municipalities has already demonstrated significant cost savings in various ways, such as reducing paper waste and providing ease of access and improved efficiency for residents and staff. How will you benefit? We are delighted to provide this service to you. As we move forward with Laserfiche, we will continue to release more types of documents with the ultimate goal of allowing you open access to most town records. For more information on how you can access our records, please see above to find step-by-step instructions for logging into the TSSERR site and accessing the town’s digital repository.
