Cayuga Heights Park is an undeveloped site owned by the Village of Cayuga Heights. 

Chase Lane Walkway is an internal trail serving the residents of C= hase Lane subdivision. 

Coddington Road Playfield is adjacent to the Coddington Road Community Center.&n= bsp; The Town has an easement for the ball field and adjoining parking lot.   The non-regulation size field has a baseball backstop and = team benches available for use.  A pavilion on the Community Center propert= y is also available with reservations through the Center. 

Compton Park is an undeveloped neighborhood park site on Sou= th Hill, which will be enlarged by the Town’s acquisition of more parkla= nd from an adjacent subdivision off Schickel Road

Dewitt = Exercise Trail is a .50-mile gra= vel track that goes around the Dewitt Middle School on Warren Road= .

Dress Woods Preserve=  is a recently acquired 10-acre parcel loca= ted on Culver Road<= /st1:Street> that contains old growth trees and will be managed as a passive recreational area to be left in its natural state.

Eastern Heights Park is a 14.00-acre neighborhood park located at the top of the Eastern Heights neighborhood with vehicular access and parking available from Skyvue Drive and Tudor Road.=   The park has a large, multipurpose ball field with baseball backstop and so= ccer goals, a full size basketball court, play structure, swings, several picnic areas, wood chipped nature trail, numerous benches, ornamental plantings and sledding hill. 

East Ithaca Nature Preserve is a 27.90-acre parcel recently donated to the Town of Ithaca to remain “forever wild”.   The land is located in the <= st1:place w:st=3D"on">Eastern Heights area behind Pine Tree Road and lies adjacent to= the William and Hannah Pew section of the East Ithaca Recreation Way.  Numerous mowed trails are maintain= ed throughout the property.  Scen= ic views exist of the South and West Hills of the Town.  Abundant birds and other types of wildlife can be seen in the preserve.

East Ithaca Recreation Way is a multipurpose, paved, commuter trail consisting of several sections built on= an abandoned railroad bed on East Hill.  The total length of the trail is 2.4 miles and runs through Cornell-owned natural areas along the Cascadilla Creek near Game Farm Road.  This trail wi= ll be connected to the future Pew Trail in the Snyder Hill neighborhood.  Ma= ny benches exist along the trail, providing hikers and jog= gers areas to rest.  A dog-waste co= llection station is provided near the parking area at the Game Farm Road entrance.  &nbs= p;

East Shore Pa= rk is a small, lakeshore park located on East Shore Drive across from Cornell University’s = Lake Source Cooling Plant.  The park has a paved parking lot, a picnic pavi= lion with table and built-in seating and garbage cans, a memorial bench and ornamental plantings.  A stone-lined shore provides fishing access and= an informal boat launching area for canoes and kayaks is available.  A dog- waste collection station is provided for public use.

Forest H= ome Walkway is a gravel trail t= hat provides a connection from Warren Road to Pleasant Grove Road and the walkway at the downstream <= st1:place w:st=3D"on">Forest Home Bridge. The trail r= uns through a forested hillside adjacent to the Robert Trent Jones golf course.=

Glenside Pre= serve is a recently donated parcel of land located behind Glenside Road and Floral Avenue.  The approximately 7 acres is to be managed as a passive recreational area.

Grandview Park is a 2.73-acre neighborhood park located along Slaterville Road next to the Hillside Alliance Church.  Amenities include a large play lawn; large play structure, benches, picnic tables, paved walkway, and numerous plantings.  Access to the park is available by car entering through the Church’s parking lot or by the walkway connection to the Gran= dview residential development off Terraceview Drive.

 Honness L= ane Walkway is a short paved sidewalk along Honness Lane that will link the fut= ure Pew Trail to the East Itha= ca Recreation Way.  Plans are to extend the walkway down to Slaterville Road in 2007.  This walkway is part of our commut= er trail system, which is plowed in the winter.

 Hungerford Heights Park is a 1.30-acre neighborhood park located in the Snyder Hill area off Dove Drive.  The park includes a play lawn, play structure, half-court basketball court, benches, picnic tables and numerous plantings.

 Judd Falls= Road Walkway links the = East Ithaca Recreation Way to Cornell University<= /st1:PlaceType>’s walkway system over the new pedestrian bridge along Route 366.  T= his is part of our commuter trail system, which is plowed in the winter.=

Lisa Lane W= alkway is a short, paved walkway liking Lisa Lane with Siena Drive.  Recently reconstructed, the scenic path leads through a beautiful wooded residential area and is enhanced with plantings of ornamental shrubs and coniferous trees.  The walkway is maintai= ned in the winter.

Maple Ave Walkway is a paved, commuter trail linking the East Hill Plaza area with the Town’s East Ithaca Recreation Way and Cornell University<= /st1:PlaceType>.

Michigan Hill Trail is a partially developed recreational trail located near Hospicare on East King Road on South Hill.  This future trail will provide an off-road connection to a future neighborhood park site adjacent to the Saunders Road.

Mitchell Street Walkway is a .30-mile paved sidewalk from the City line at Vine Street to the new Rite Aid sto= re on Pine Tree Road.  It provides a link to the = East Ithaca Recreation Way and is maintained in the winter.

Northeast Ithaca Recreation Way is a .50-mile paved trail linking the Winston Drive, Tareyton Drive and Muriel Street residential area to <= st1:Street w:st=3D"on">Warren Road= and the schools at Dewitt and Northeast Elementary.

Northview Par= k is a 1.23-acre neighborhood park located on Northview Road West on Ithaca’s South Hill.  A gravel entrance path leads to a small play structure, picnic area, benches, mowed nature trail and wooded areas that are home to numerous species of birds.

Peachtr= ee Lane Walkway is a future tr= ail connection to the bikeway leading to our park sites at Tutelo and Saponi Meadows through the residential area currently being constructed.

Perry Lane Park is a 1.98-acre future neighborhood park located near Bundy Road.  No current plans = exist for the development of this site.

Perry Lane/Shalebrook Walkway is a future trail connection from Perry Lane to the neighborhood park= site off Bundy Road.

Pine Tree W= alkway is a .35-mile paved commuter trail that will li= nk the future Pew Trail to East<= /st1:PlaceName> Hill Plaza.  It is adjacent to Cornell= University’s = large horse pasture on Pine Tree= Road.

Pleasant Grove Walkway is a concrete sidewalk leading from Community Corners in the Village of Cayuga Heights, along Pleasant Gr= ove Road to Cornell University in the Town of Ithaca.  It is maintained in the winter by the Village and Cornell.

Salem Park is a 2.4-acre neighborhood park with a play structure, sand box, picnic area, wood chipped nature trail, benches and sm= all lawn area.  Located in the Northeast section of town it is largely woo= ded and in close proximity to Sapsucker Woods. 

Sanct= uary Drive Walkway is an undevel= oped trail that will link the S= apsucker Woods Road/Sanctuary Drive neighborhood to Salem Park. 

Sandra P= lace Walkway is a short section = of paved, commuter walkway in the Northeast linking the Burleigh Drive neighborhood to the walkway along Winthrop Dri= ve.  There are numerous plantings and large oak trees along the walkway. 

Saponi Meadows P= ark is currently undeveloped.  Plans for a com= munity park with multi-purpose field, pavilion, comfort station, play structure and other facilities are being proposed.  This future park is located alon= g Seven Mile Drive, close to the Town’s Public Works Facility. 

Saunders Road Park is a 1.99-acre undeveloped neighborhood park located off East King Road and adjacent to the = Saunders Road subdivision.  Plans are not yet in place for what will be built on this site.  A beautiful scenic overlook of Ithaca exists from this site. 

Si= msbury/Texas Lane Walkway is a short, pa= ved walkway that is part of a system of walkways in the Winthrop Drive neighborhood that ar= e used by school children and daily walkers.  These walkways provide safer ro= utes for pedestrian to travel and are maintained throughout the winter. 

Sou= th Hill Recreation Way is a 3.30-mile recreational trail built on an abandoned railroad bed running parallel to Coddington Roa= d on South Hill.  Many entrance points exist, including one within the C= ity at Hudson Street.   Many benches are positioned at scenic points along the trail, all of which = is off-road.  The trail runs through beautiful wooded areas with many cre= ek crossings and small gorges in the City’s watershed.  Small parki= ng areas are provided at Juni= per Drive and Burns Road.  A self-guided nat= ure trail starts at the Crescent Place entrance with pamphlets available nearby. 

Summerhil= l/East Hill Plaza Walkway is a sho= rt paved walkway linking residential facilities along = Summerhill Road with the East Hill Plaza.  It pro= vides an off-road connection to the Plaza. 

Sunset Park<= /span> is owned by the Village of Cayuga Heights and provides a scenic overlook of = Ithaca

Tareyton Park<= /a> is a 1.90-acre neighborhood located behind the Winston Court Apartments in the Northeast section of the Town.  The pa= rk includes a large, multipurpose ball field with baseball backstop and a pair= of soccer goals, a play structure, picnic area and benches.  The park is accessible by the Northeas= t Ithaca Recreation Way, a paved, commuter walkway link= ing Warren Road= to the Winston Court area. 

Troy Park is a 4.20-acre neighborhood park located adjace= nt to the Deer Run subdivision on South Hill.  It includes a paved parking l= ot off Troy Road and paved walkway connection to the neighborhood via Whitetail Drive.  A play struc= ture, sand box, play lawn, benches, picnic tables, numerous plantings and a beaut= iful view overlooking Ithaca are some of the parks attributes. 

Tudor Park is a 2.30-acre neighborhood park in the Eastern Heights neighborhood that includes= a play structure, benches, wood chipped nature trail, small lawn area, planti= ngs and a connection to the William and Hannah Pew Trail section of the East Ithaca Recreation Way. 

Tutelo Park is an 8.31-acre community park located on Bostwick Road across from the Ithaca City School District bus garage.  This facility includes a regulation size Little League baseba= ll field with skinned infield, bleachers and dugouts.  There is also a comfort station, picnic pavilion available to reserve, future paved bikeway connection to Saponi Meadows park site, wood chi= pped nature trails with benches and an on-going Children’s Nature Garden with native wildflower plantings along the trails.  The park includes = Tompkins County’s largest Shagbark Hi= ckory and Black Oak trees. 

Vince= nzo Iacovelli Park is a 3.5-acre neighbor= hood park located along the Sou= th Hill Recreation Way with parking available at the e= nd of Juniper Drive.  The park includes a large Leathers and Associates designed play structure, = play lawn, half-court basketball court, benches, picnic tables and gazebo, wood chipped nature trail, numerous plantings, and wooded natural area. 

Westhaven Preserve is an l0.71-acre natural area recently donated = to the Town of Ithaca.  A mowed nature trail extends throu= gh the parcel located behind West= haven Road on West Hill.  The area will be managed as a pass= ive recreational site and borders Eco-Village.

West Hill Park is a 22.27-acre future community park located near Linderman Creek, Oakwood Lane and the current Perry Farm off Bundy Road.  Plans are yet to be formulated for development of this large park site. 

William and Hannah Pew Trail section of East Ithaca Recreation Way is under construction.&n= bsp; This .75-mile oil and stone surfaced, commuter trail will link our current walkways along Honness Lan= e and Pine Tree Road with Tudor Park in the Eastern Heights neighborhood.  Entran= ces exist at Regency Lane, Joa= nne Drive, Park Lane, Pine Tree Road, and Snyder Hill Road.   A large gazebo is located ne= xt to the trail at the Joanne Dr= ive entrance, providing an excellent view of the Ithaca College towers.  The structure was ded= icated to the memory of Shirley Raffensberger, a forme= r Town of Ithaca Supervisor. The trail is adjacent to a large natural area donated to the Town of Ithaca.  The= re is a parking area for trail users, a future bus pull-off and transit plaza with connections to the trail on Pine Tree Road, benches, and plantings.<= /p>

Winner&#= 8217;s Circle Trail provides an of= f-road link from Slaterville Road= , along Winner’s Circle, to the City’s Circle Greenway trail syst= em in the Mulholland Wildflower Preserve. 

Winthr= op Drive Walkway is a .25-mile paved, commuter sidewalk that links the Northeast Elementar= y School with the Town and Village walkway system. 

Woolf/E= vergreen Trail is an undeveloped tra= il that will provide a link with our future park on Woolf Lane to other West Hill neighborhoods in the Duboi= s Road area. 

Woolf Park is an undeveloped neighborhood park consisting = of 1.94-acres of natural area.  Plans are currently being worked on for construction to begin in 2007.  A mowed nature trail, picnic area, ben= ches and possible small play structure are being considered for the park.=
